About Our Shelter
ZooLamBoo is a home based State approved, Non-Profit, no kill Shelter/Foster Home.
The kitties benefit from a home environment, are encouraged to be held, pet, play and get along with other cats.
All resident cats/kittens are rescued from the surrounding area. Some have been abandoned, others are surrendered, especially pregnant females, moms with kittens. Kittens with no moms are bottle fed with love & care.
All kitties have veterinary exams, are tested for fiv, felv, & hw. All kitties are potty trained, wormed and if needed, have flea treatment.
ZooLmBoo has found loving homes for many cats & kittens. We often receive updates, stories & photos from our adopters. Some adopters come back for another kitty and/or bring friends or relatives who also want to adopt.
We were so happy to receive a letter and pictures from a daughter who wanted a special kitty for her mother, an older woman who recently lost her husband:

Another one of my kittens "Cookie" and her new home companion "Sunny", a golden retriever made their debut on the SecondChance calendar a few years ago.
